Here's how it works. You're given a word and you can do one of five things to it: You can add a letter to it to make a new word. Example: star -> stare You can remove a letter from it to make your new word. Example: strangle -> strange You can change a letter in the word so it's the new word. Example: mail -> jail You can make an anagram of the old word into the new word. Example: rate -> tear
The trick is that you can only do ONE MUTATION AT A TIME to a word. For example, you cannot change the word "cough" to "cougar".
